BUILDING THE NETWORK: Most often the collection of environmental data is facilitated by establishing a network of stations and monitors, with a communication center at the heart of the network, and components added for specialized tasks such as reporting and transmitting/exporting. The overall flow goes like this (click on headings to expand):
Envidas Ultimate is your data acquisition engine, an open software system with plug-in modules and connections to monitors and sensors. It runs automatically, acquiring measurements, controlling processes and transferring data to the central communications suite. The system has the capability of filtering data, reports, calibration control, detecting errors and sending alerts. Go To Envidas Ultimate
DRDL software is an embedded C++ application running under WinCE. It is compiled to work on a specific model of the Advantech UNO embedded PC. DRDL features digital communication with 1 or 2 specific devices for projects that require a small form factor low power basic data acquisition capability. Go to DRDL
Envista Air Resources Manager is a Windows 7/2008 client-server application for supervisory control, management and analysis of data. View, analyze, report and distribute environmental quality data across the full range of media. Data is collected by the CommCenter communication application and stored in a SQL or ORACLE Server database. Go to Envista ARM
Maintain View is a web-based utility that allows an air network user group to create inventory, schedule maintenance for it, and review historical information related to the use of the equipment within the network. Integration with Envista ARM is a chief benefit of using the Maintain View system – users, devices, calibrations, and stations are all integrated with the Envista ARM database to provide a single repository for your data. Go to Maintain View
Filter PAQC is a sample integration utility that provides the mechanisms needed for filter based PM fine measurements to find their way into the Envista ARM database, and ultimately be produced as Air Quality System (AQS) submittal records for XML Reporter. Filter PAQC combines lab data flows with data created during a run cycle on the field device, and produces a user interface for authorization of each filter’s measurements. Go to FilterPAQC
By using this feature of Envista ARM, the user can view the operational quality of the network: calibration reports, selected data sets' status codes, diagnostic information collected from smart analyzers, monitor status alarms, reports on digital I/O changes to data loggers, communications errors during the data acquisition process, station power failures, missing data for selected monitors, log book notes and reports, edits that have been made to raw data values, reports of validations performed on monitors. Go to Envista ARM
Produce, print and export textual and graphical reports of data segments: Station Data Report — Standard tabular and graphical reports for Station values. Multi-Station — supports multiple parameters. Group — Report that reflects a user defined group of monitors related to one or more stations. Histogram — The frequency of occurrence of various ranges of a monitor’s value. Index — Performance of the Air Quality Index value for a station or several stations. Go to Envista ARM
FTP Import Export is an integral tool in Envista/Envidas, allowing for the timely transmission of data from one database to another, between servers or subgroups of a single organization, or as a submission to parent or regularatory bodies. Custom formats and profiles can be applied. Go to FTP IE
Envista Web edition is designed to allow you to publish your environmental data which has been captured using Envista ARM environmental data management software onto the World Wide Web. Designed especially with the needs of public bodies and other agencies with a responsibility for environmental monitoring and reporting, the web edition provides a simple route to publication either to concerned citizens or within your organization through an Intranet. The site employs frames to provide a consistent look and feel throughout the site; language selection using flag icons and the locale specific date and time for the chosen country locale. Go to Envista Web
To get your Air Quality values their phones you can use DR DAS Mobile Apps. These are custom packages applications submitted to your phone stores of choice — iTunes, Google Play or Windows Phone 8 Store. DR DAS and Envitech manage the customization, building and submission process. Use the Envista API to provide the service backend for swift database responses to your user’s information access via mobile app. Go to Mobile Apps
DR Das has developed a kiosk system for public display of environmental educational information. Graphics and interface are designed specifically for ease and fun, if it's for a park or attraction. The efforts and organization that go into air quality maintenance and other environmental monitoring are large: there is a lot to learn. The system can be tailored for specific organizational uses. Go to Kiosk Info
XML Reporter is the name for the submission system that supports both the US EPA AQS Data Exchange and the Canadian NAPS Data Exchange. These and other oversight bodies have developed XML reporting schema that allow required organizations to submit reporting data in the format. Go to XML Reporter
